Coach Formie | Power. Pause. Return: This Is What Coming Back Looks Like
Coach Formie
Hey everyone!
As many of you know, The FormaFit Active Team has been deep in the work: staying active, creating content, and staying connected with this awesome community. But beyond the workouts and videos, we’ve been reflecting on something deeper, the real why behind our movement.
Let’s be honest: staying motivated isn’t always easy. Life throws curveballs. Our energy dips.
Our passion fades. And getting back into the game, the gym, the trail, the mat, can feel impossible when you’re carrying the weight of what you’ve been through.
There was a time when I was more driven, more disciplined, more on fire for fitness. But life happened. Some rough years dimmed that fire. I stopped moving, and eventually... I stopped feeling like myself.
Depression has a way of silencing that inner voice, the one that used to hype you up, push you forward, and remind you of your worth. And for a long time, I let that voice fade. I wasn’t hitting the gym, the trails, or any of the places that used to make me feel alive.
But then one day, I asked myself:
Why haven’t you gone back?
And the only honest answer I could give was:
Because I forgot how powerful I was.
And that — that — was the moment everything changed. It was this moment that I could finally step back and look at my situation and admit my unhappiness. A bitter pill to admit aloud.
So I started moving again. Not because I had the energy but because I needed to feel something else again. I turned sadness into hikes. I turned pain into sweat. I turned my restlessness into physical power.
Every day is still a choice. Every step, every breath, every “money move” , it all counts. Every single day is a choice to make progress.
So if you’ve fallen off. If you’re stuck. If you’ve forgotten your fire, I feel you. I am you. And I’m telling you: it’s never too late to start again.
Let’s keep going. Let’s keep showing up. Let’s keep turning pain into power, together.
