Gear I Use

No fluff. No paid placements. Just what I actually use.

This is the gear that moves with me from long trail walks to city loops, from sweat sessions to slow days. Some of it helps me carry, some of it helps me fuel, and some of it just keeps me present. If it’s here, I’ve worn it, packed it, or walked with it. And I’ll tell you why.

What I Wear

  • Navy blue Nike running shoes

    Nike running shoes

I wear these for running, run/walks, and indoor sessions — especially on concrete or in the gym. They’re light, responsive, and supportive without feeling bulky. My go-to when I need cushion without overthinking it.

  • faja fit check pic, a peek under the t shirt

    Mi Faja

I wear mi faja for walking, training, and sweat-focused sessions. It gives me structure without stiffness the kind that makes me feel held, not trapped. Paired with Sweet Sweat gel (just a thin layer), it helps build heat and focus when I need it most. This isn’t for aesthetics. It’s for intention. For showing up with heat. I wear this on short walks, stationary bike, or even doing chores.

  • Bottle of Sweet Sweat

    Sweet Sweat Gel

I apply a light layer before putting on my faja. Not too much just enough to help that slow, intentional sweat.

What I Carry

  • Neon glitter Backpack (Bladder Removed, Stickers Added)

Glitter Backpack (Bladder Removed, Stickers Added)

I started with this as a hydration pack but I took the bladder out, unless I’m cycling. For walking and everyday training, I just drop a water bottle in and go. It’s compact, comfortable, and fun. And yes, it’s glittery. I’ve added my own stickers too, so it feels like mine.
Movement doesn’t have to be bland.

  • Hollywood cap selfie with red JBL speaker

    JBL Speaker

I carry this with me, clipped to my backpack, always. Music helps me stay in rhythm, especially on long walks or training days when I need to get out of my head. It’s more than background noise. It’s energy.

  • Lightweight Sports Water Bottle (Stickered, of Course)

Lightweight Sports Water Bottle (Stickered, of Course)

I carry a lightweight squeeze bottle that’s easy to refill and doesn’t weigh me down. I’ve added my own stickers to it because even hydration can have personality. Simple. Reliable. Always with me.

What Fuels Me

  • GU Energy Gel packet, lemon sublime

    GU Energy Gel

Technically, it’s made for endurance but I use it even on short walks when I need a boost. If I do take it, I usually take half halfway through, and that alone makes a big difference. You don’t have to down the whole packet or be running a marathon to benefit from the fuel. Energy is energy. Use it how you need it.

  • Package of Honey Stinger Energy Chews cherry blossom flavor

    Honey Stinger Energy Chews

I treat these the same way: just a few pieces mid-walk, especially if I’m dragging. They’re easy to carry, easy to chew, and surprisingly effective. Don’t let the packaging fool you, you don’t need a race bib to deserve fuel.
