Same Loop, New Direction

I took the same walk today just started in the other direction. The loop around Griffith Golf, a piece of it anyway.

Watermelon on the trail. I left a few bites for the squirrels. I like to see them take a piece, even if I never catch it on camera. Just knowing they took a bite feels right and I’m gonna say it, adorable.

I wore my sin límites hat and an all-black tank and shorts set, clean, cool, and quiet. No pressure. Just motion.

But here’s what was different: LAPD were staged in the LA Zoo parking lot. Quiet force. No one said anything. No loud calls, no commotion. Just presence. Their heavy and deep presence. Today, on the day of the No Kings protest in Los Angeles, part of a wave of civil unrest and response across the city and the country. You could feel it, even from the trail.

I didn’t take a photo. I didn’t want to. I just kept walking.

Movement, even under tension, is still movement. I’m not here for spectacle. I’m here to stay aware. To stay in motion. To leave small pieces of joy behind even when the air feels thick.

Not every path is wide. Not every season is sunny. But movement? That’s mine. That’s yours.

Sin Límites. Siempre

Here’s some of what we used today:

-Not merch but a mindset: Sin Límites hat

-Coach Formie’s pink net backpack

-I put stickers on my Sports Water Bottle

I like to switch things up, try a bunch, and keep it moving.

And remember to stay hydrated, it’s okay to snack, pack it in and pack it out, take your trash with you.
